About Us

Saving via payroll offers a buffer if things go wrong or when you least expect it. Even a small amount of savings can soften the blow and help you avoid resorting to expensive borrowing.

If you are working for one of the employers listed below, we are pleased to inform you that your employer has agreed to work with us to offer credit union financial services as a staff benefit. You can now save or make loan repayments directly from your salary. This means once you receive your payslip the chosen amount would have already been deducted and passed on to the credit union, before your salary hits your bank account.

You have access to your NLCU account 24/7 plus there are no penalties for withdrawing money online, via the telephone or directly through one of our branches.

As a member of NLCU, provided that you keep your account in credit, you may receive an annual dividend on the balance that is held in your account. The dividend rate is set at the credit union AGM taking into consideration the financial position of the credit union.

Notts and Lincs Credit Union is a fair and ethical local provider of financial services. When you save with NLCU you are allowing other local people to borrow. Some of these people you will be helping would otherwise be unable to access funds through the traditional high street lenders.
